In an impressive stride toward accommodating the diverse needs of its workforce, Deutsche Bank has announced the introduction of “reset and recovery pods” specifically designed for menopausal women at its new London office. This initiative positions the German investment bank as a pioneer in addressing women's health and wellness in the corporate sector.

Innovative Features for Maximum Comfort

The pods, which are a key component of Deutsche Bank's comprehensive wellness suite, are equipped with reclinable chairs and personalized cooling and lighting controls. These features aim to provide a supportive environment for employees experiencing menopause or perimenopause symptoms, such as hot flushes and migraines, offering them a space to reset and recover during the workday.

A Holistic Approach to Employee Well-being

Deutsche Bank's wellness suite, slated for completion in July, will also house physiotherapy facilities, GP clinics, a mindfulness space, and a multifaith prayer room, catering to a broad spectrum of employee needs. The inclusion of support for neurological conditions highlights the bank's commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Strategic Office Relocation

The rollout of these innovative pods coincides with Deutsche Bank's move to its new headquarters at 21 Moorfields, situated above Moorgate Tube station. This relocation to a state-of-the-art, 65,500 sq meter facility underscores the bank's dedication to providing a modern and accommodating work environment for its employees.
